Tennessee Model UN Wins Big in St. Louis

The University of Tennessee’s Model United Nation’s team scored a big win at Washington University’s Model United Nations conference (WUMUNC) in St. Louis, Missouri, the weekend of February 3-4, 2018.
The Top 50 ranked “Tennessee Travel Team” took home nine individual awards, including tree first place finishes, and walked away with second place overall at the conference.
“This win showcased the strength and depth of our travel team,” says Tristan Smith, club president and team captain. “I’m especially proud of our juniors for stepping up and leading by example at this conference.”
Tennessee hosted Volunteer Model United Nations (VolMUN) and continues their season on the road at Emory University, the University of Virginia, the University of Chicago, and the College of William & Mary.
