MPPA Board of Advisors Meeting May 11, 2018

Chaired by Lola Alapo, the distinguished members of the MPPA Board of Advisors gathered in the Board Room of the Howard Baker Center or joined via Zoom to hear reports from the MPPA faculty about recent program initiatives such as the annual Orange Book Policy Series, the first edition of which was published in April 2018. The faculty shared highlights of the program's performance in internship and job placements and the significant progress achieved in developing and sustaining scholarships and assistantships for MPPA students. The Board heard presentations from Kori Lautner, Baker-MPPA Scholar and Taylor Hawthorn MPPA Communications Leader.  Board members also provided valuable feedback on the MPPA curriculum and mission.
