Tianjing Liao is a Teaching Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Tennessee. She earned a PhD in Political Science and an MS in Statistics from the University of Tennessee. She also holds a Master of Laws from Peking University and a BS in Physics from Zhejiang University.
Her research focuses on international political economy, foreign policy, international conflict, political communication, and political movements. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, including International Interactions, International Area Studies Review, and Asian Survey. She teaches courses in international relations, comparative politics, and political research methods.
