Dr. Troy Goodale focuses his teaching and research activities in the areas of Political Philosophy and American Government & Politics. Pertaining to the former, his interests are primarily in the specialized areas of American Political Thought, Ancient Political Philosophy, and the Marx-Engels theory of the State. In the subfield of American Government & Politics, Troy has taught and advances his knowledge of the discipline on the subjects of Direct Democracy, Legislative Term Limits, U.S. Foreign Policy, as well as Parties, Interest Groups, and Elections.
