National Political Science Honors Society

Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society, is the only honor society for college and university students of government in the United States. At present, there are 621 Pi Sigma Alpha chapters on campuses across the country.

Membership Eligibility

To be eligible for membership a student must:

  1. Be a junior, senior, or graduate student.
  2. Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  3. Have a minimum major (political science) GPA of 3.3.
  4. Have completed a minimum of 15 hours in political science
